Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the vizstudio website and the vizstudio library of community visualizations for Google Data Studio / Looker Studio (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Viz Studio LLC ("Viz Studio," "we," "us"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
vizstudio provides a subscription library of custom chart components ("Visualizations") that render inside Google Data Studio / Looker Studio reports via Google's community visualization framework. The Service includes the vizstudio website, chart documentation pages, and the Visualizations themselves.
2. Accounts & Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use the Service. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you submit when signing up and for all activity occurring under your subscription. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
3. Subscriptions, Billing & Trials
- Plans. Access to the full Visualization library is sold as a subscription, billed monthly or annually as described on our pricing page. Prices may change with notice; changes take effect at your next renewal.
- Trials. Free trials, where offered, convert to a paid subscription only if you affirmatively subscribe. No credit card is required for a trial.
- Cancellation. You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.
4. License & Acceptable Use
Subject to these Terms and an active subscription, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Visualizations in Data Studio / Looker Studio reports that you create, including reports shared with your clients or organization. You may not:
- resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Visualizations or their source files as a standalone product;
- remove or obscure proprietary notices;
- reverse-engineer the Visualizations except to the extent permitted by applicable law;
- use the Service to violate any law or third-party right, or to transmit malicious code.
5. Intellectual Property
The Service, including the Visualizations, website design, documentation, and branding, is owned by Viz Studio LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. Your data remains yours: Visualizations render your report data inside Google's infrastructure, and we claim no rights to it. Feedback and chart suggestions you submit may be used by us without obligation.
6. Third-Party Services
The Visualizations run on Google's community visualization platform and the Service depends on Google Data Studio / Looker Studio, which is operated by Google under its own terms. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by Google, and we are not responsible for changes Google makes to its platform.
7. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every future version of Data Studio / Looker Studio.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VIZ STUDIO LLC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, OR DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms. Upon termination, your license to the Visualizations ends, and sections that by their nature should survive (including Sections 5, 7, 8, and 11) will survive.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the state in which Viz Studio LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in that state.
